Around the Chapters

On Wednesday 14th April the Chapter hosted a special event at Westpac Place, 275 Kent St Sydney.

As part of the concluding segment of filming for the new Aviation Security (AVSEC) 2010 DVD, an expert panel discussion was held moderated by Rod Cowan (Director of AVSEC 2010), with panellists, Paul Retter (Office of Transport Security), Luke Bramah (Manager Group Security Operations, Qantas), Bill Burke (Mildura Airport) and John McArdle (Adelaide Airport); the discussion covered current trends, the importance of technology, the maturing of the relationship between regulators and the industry and the importance of collaboration between all stakeholders. The evening concluded with an ASIS Networking event over drinks and canapes during a beautiful Sydney night on the terrace at Westpac Place overlooking Darling Harbour.
