Meet The Executive

Chairman - Bob Campbell, CPP, PSP

Bob Campbell is a Canberra based security risk management consultant and security engineering specialist. Bob joined AECOM, an international consultancy firm as Associate Director - Security. Bob has delivered security risk management solutions in a wide range of sectors including government, health, commercial, banking, cultural and heritage, mining, education, institutional and critical infrastructure. 

Through his 30 year career in the security industry, Bob has held various roles on a range of security industry Boards including the New Zealand Security Industry Board (NZSA), the Electro-Technology Industry Training Board (ETITO) and ASIS International. He has also been involved with expert working groups in the development of a range of qualifications for the security industry. He also holds a Bachelor of Science.

Deputy Chairman -Sal Sidoti

Sal is a Canberra based senior associate with Booz and Company. He is a senior member of Booz's
public sector and national security consulting team and leads their Australian, New Zealand and
SE-Asia work in border security and in enterprise resilience. Sal has broad experience in supporting
strategic change, resilience and capability development for both commercial organisations and
government agencies. 

Sal' particular expertise is in assisting organisations in the national security community align their
strategies,capabilities, processes and relationships with their evolving environments and the 
expectations of government. 

Sal has written on security risk management and capability development and has spoken nationally
and internationally on resilience and national security issues. He has a Bachelor degree in
Engineering and a Masters Degree in Science and Business Administration. 


Secretary - Peter Whelan

Peter currently works for Aurecon as a Senior Security Consultant and has
considerable experience in the Security Industry for medium to large
infrastructure projects at strategic and delivery levels. 

His experience and project management skills are specialised in major infrastructure
development involving state and commonwealth governments. 

Key roles include business development, project management, technical advisor, 
design management, maintenance advice, coordination, bid management, 
tendering and construction inspection.

Peter also holds a Diploma of Security Risk Management and has project
experience with ANU, Canberra Stadium, Casino Canberra and the AFP.

Treasurer & Members Chair -Peter Bourke, CPP

Peter Bourke is a Canberra based senior security consultant with AECOM. Peter has over 23 years of expertise in electronic integrated security, access control and CCTV systems. 

His expertise covers design and project management of integrated electronic systems developed around the principles of security risk management. Peter is a SCEC endorsed security consultant and has a Certificate in Security (Risk) Management (ECU), holds an Industrial Electronics Certificate and an Associate Diploma in Electrical Engineering. 

Young Professionals Representative - Adam Incher, CPP 

Adam has 14 years of Hospitality Security Experience working for Star City Casino, Intercontinental Hotel Group, Four Seasons Hotels and Hyatt Hotels. Adam is now the Regional Security Manager for Exact Security in Canberra. 

He has completed training with Cornell University on Executive Leadership and the Australian Institute of Management on Project Management. Adam attained his CPP in January 2012.
